Another end of a year. Do you actually make New year’s resolutions? I personally don’t follow up well with long term lists and goals. Somewhere along the way I get lost or I get an unexpected turn. And growing up, I learned that it’s just OK.

Second term of my Masters degree in London, as a 25-years-old I first realized my brain works in a reversed way. I actually discover on the way what my purpose is and then I have all the right words to name it, all the right explanations for the path.

In some magical way everything justifies and clicks and makes sense, and I realized there is a reason behind -almost- everything.

So, yes. I am not big in New Year Resolutions. What I have actually championed the past two years is to pause and take a moment for the year that passed by. I go through photos on my phone or remember moments of this year. What inspired me the most? What made me the saddest? What was the funniest moment? Full of loud laughs?

The same thing I started doing for my birthday. As for the kids, I started letting them know moments from their birth or sharing with them mementos of their baby years unfolding on camera and film.

I feel you have to give yourself respect and gratitude and feed your memory. Memory is so important. It’s the moments we elish and appreciate that make our life unique.

So my advice, don’t go big in New Year resolutions. Enjoy a glass of good red wine and  congratulate yourself  for what accomplished and felt meaningful to you. You did your best anyways.

Maybe write a list of your inspirations and which ways you will evolve personally, physically, mentally. Or what kind of attitude or vibe  you want your home to get. Or maybe what you need to save for investing in a holiday home and make a favorites list in our website with all your future purchases.

How does it sound?

Happy to hear your thought as always

Wishing you a healthy and joyful 2024
