What if, out of nowhere, a new addition in the interior design of your home wakes up your walls?
Think of your walls as a canvas for experimentation, freedom and interpretation, or think about it as a means that will add texture and coziness to your environment, helping you to escape from the flatness of the paint.

Fresh new additions in contemporary wallpapers and wall covering collections can dress the home with floral prints, geometric patterns shapes and exotic motifs.
Wallpaper designers have made huge efforts in recent years in achieving greater effects of depth and chromatic refraction in their designs. At the same time technological research of companies in both materials and production processes has made it possible to evolve greatly.
Different kinds of wallpaper offer sound absorbing support or provide a positive acoustic impact to the rooms. Experimentation in production processes has brought up exciting new materials like wood veneer, agave fiber, gold foil, pleated paper and textile.
So where do you install them? What’s the perfect room that is wallpaper-material?
Actually there are no limits to wallpaper application. Modern wallpapers land not only in the bedroom, but also in the bathroom and kitchen, even in outdoors, to surfaces resistant to weathering.
Missoni always offers refined wallpaper collections characterized by subtle and striking backgrounds. One of my favorites from Missoni Home Wallcoverings Collection n4 is Constellations. I have personally used it in my living room and I have to tell you, I seriously can’t get over it. Every single time I pass by the corridor, I look with amazement and appreciation. It’s actually the work of art on the floor.
Personally, I love textured walls so for me that’s a rule when picking wallpapers. I feel that not only they are sleek and elegant, but they also throw warmth and togetherness back into the room like no other material does.
If you are more into monochromatics, don’t be afraid to embrace darker colours like blood red or deep green and brown. Even though monochromatics are a more neutral style they have a strong identity when texture is added.
If you are into floral or exotic motifs I’d suggest going for a panoramic depiction instead of a tiled effect. There are amazing panoramic collections with striking scenic impact.
Some designs tell a story, others stimulate the senses with shapes, images and textures , there are many unique options out there to explore .
May this Autumn be a harvest of happy times for you and your loved ones
